Crouton, was brought to us with his sister after they were found next to their mother who was killed by a car. After two days of intensive treatment, instead of improving like his sister, Crouton was getting worse. His blood work showed severe anaemia, putting him in desperate need of a blood transfusion.
At that moment, Pumpkin was the best and only option for a blood donor. Thankfully, this transfusion was a complete success, allowing him to make a full recovery. Crouton and his sister were rehabilitated with other foxes and released back into the wild.
