Toffee was found stuck in a glue trap by a member of the public. Glue traps are commonly used to trap birds for trafficking and even though this is illegal, like fox hunting, it still happens.
After having the glue gently removed from his legs and fethers and a few days or recovery, Toffee was released back in the area where it was found. The case was reported to the wildlife police and the area monitored to prevent this from happening again.
