Our Team
Charles Dance - Patron
Actor, screenwriter and film director
“ Most injured wildlife is put to sleep without medical care. This is a shame, because our wildlife is in decline and the UK lags near the bottom of the biodiversity intactness index. Of the 240 countries list, the UK is 12th from the bottom. What does this mean? It means that much of our wildlife is threatened with extinction if we don’t do something now. Not just for us but for our children and grandchildren. That’s why I’m supporting PWHRC. ”

Her unwavering passion for animals has been the cornerstone of her profession, earning her a distinguished reputation for consistently surpassing expectations in caring for her clients, patients, and local wildlife.
“In the last two years, I have witnessed an overwhelming increase in the demand for rescue and care of wildlife. I have found myself dealing with wild animals that had been kept in poor conditions without receiving the much-needed urgent veterinary care.
In some cases, wild animals that could have been cured have ended up being euthanized just because of the delay of their treatment. Some have ended up with avoidable injuries that make it impossible for them to be released back into the wild. That’s why it’s vital we have more wildlife hospitals and rehabilitation centres.”
